This is the fantastic new T-mobile advert which was filmed at 11am on Thursday 15th January 2009 at Liverpool Street station, London. I really dig things like this. Very cool. If you can’t view the video click here.

These Black and Decker Lawn Mower ads are a bit disturbing but well done, I guess? I doubt we will see these in the States. Any thoughts?

I ran across Airtoons, parodied airline safety cards, by accident today. It isn’t new but it is damn funny and worth checking out for a laugh. Some of these illustrations were just begging to be made fun of. Tyler Durden would approve.

Tonight on the day the country decides who will be our next President, Discovery Channel’s DIRTY JOBS with Mike Rowe gets the real dirt behind the White House. For the special Dirty Presidents episode airing Tuesday, November 4 from 9-10PM ET/PT, Mike pays tribute to our dirtiest of Presidents – the ones who were as comfortable in the muck as they were in the Oval Office.
Additionally throughout Discovery’s November 4 primetime schedule, from 8 to 11PM ET/PT, the network will air 12 “Dirty Politics” segments (four per hour) that give surprising insight into the actual dirty jobs held by past presidents – from janitor (James Garfield) to tannery worker (Ulysses S. Grant) and butcher (Abraham Lincoln).
DIRTY JOBS with Mike Rowe airs regularly on Tuesdays from 9-10 PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.

I was in Cincinnati for a press check yesterday and stopped in the Cincinnati Art Museum and they have some great exhibits going on. Plan on spending the day, unfortunalty I only had a few hours. CHINA DESIGN NOW was awesome. It explores contemporary Chinese design through architecture, fashion, graphics, and other media from Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Some fantastic graphic design work and I really liked the new Beijing architecture built for the Olympics. They also had the Olympic Torch. Very cool work. Also one of my favorites Ryan McGinness also has a very cool exhibit going on as well, AESTHITIC COMFORT. This body of work is very “McGinness” but with a twist, its printed with florescent, pearlescents, and metallic pigments and the gallery is flooded with black lights. Awesome experience, I could stare at this exhibit all day. And if that’s not enough to keep you busy there’s more. There’s a large collection of prints by Czech artist Jiri Anderle in ILLISION AND REALITY. Jiri’s printmaking is insane and a must see. So yes I recommend a trip to the Cincinnati Art Museum before any of these are taken down. Oh yeah and there is a killer Porsche Carrera GT on display.

Can you believe its time for Halloween already, October is here! Check out Hallowindow by Mark Gervais. There are so many bad and hokey halloween dvds out there, but this is different. I really dig how he uses the windows of a house, very clever. Also be sure to check out Mark’s other work here.
