What an interesting idea. Tim Knowles has attached drawing and painting utensils to the tips of tree branches and allows the wind to create a one of a kind drawing. Also he gets different results with each tree which have there own characteristics and style.

Biggest Drawing in World Revealed as Hoax

Recent posts of “artist” Erik Nordenankar’s self-portrait, which straddles the entire globe had people excited and talking. But now its being revealed as a hoax. A spokeswoman from DHL said they had allowed him to film in their Stockholm warehouse as part of a college project, on the understanding that the work went no further than his art school. The GPS package was never sent around the world. What a joke, read the story here.

An amazing body of work. Andrzej is pushing the limits of digital photography. He has only been involved in photography since 2003. Andrzej has a PhD in Quantum Physics then he was music composer . This guy is very talented and has been published in several magazines and books. Definitely worth looking at.

BIGGEST DRAWING IN THE WORLD

This has to be one of the most ambitious, innovative projects I’ve seen in a while. Using the planet as his canvas, August Zachrisson has created a self portrait by shipping a GPS tracking device through 62 countries. The path of the GPS loaded briefcase makes up the strokes of the Biggest Drawing in the World. The site has some great videos and a poster that documents the process.
